Oliver revives his connections while going through his evenings chasing down and some of the time killing lawbreakers as a hooded vigilante, known as The Hood. In the primary season, Oliver gets back to Starling City and is brought together with his mom, Moira (Susanna Thompson), his sister, Thea (Willa Holland), and his companion, Tommy Merlyn (Colin Donnell). The series follows tycoon playboy Oliver Sovereign (Stephen Amell), who professed to have burned through five years wrecked on Lian Yu, a strange island in the North China Ocean, before getting back to Starling City (later renamed “Star City”) to battle wrongdoing and debasement as a mysterious vigilante whose weapon of decision is a bow and bolt.
