Thanks to the canal block mod collection it is now possible to build a canal, making you city a lot more aesthetically pleasing while at the same time increasing local property value in game.
In the cities Skylines After Dark expansion land value was increased for waterfront properties, making terrain highly sought after by players, but sadly building parts of your city on the coastline isn't an option, so how about building a European style canal? It hasn't been long since Cities: Skylines received it's first major expansion, After Dark, and since then the games already vibrant modding scene has moved into overdrive, producing more new content for the game than even the developers had originally expected.
